Sharp Eye: Chapter 6
By: Knight-of-Luna
"I need to move." Was all I told myself when I woke up.
I was back at that destroyed general store as a child. I was wet, cold, hungry, and could feet a cold setting in. I needed to get a fire going soon or else I might not make it. I dug out a can of beans I had found in a cabinet and stabbed at the top with the now damaged knife. I finally got it open and scooped the cold slop down quickly. It tasted terrible and the texture almost made me vomit but I forced it down regardless.
Well where to go now? I had no real direction or place to go so I was at a complete loss. I figured if I followed the

I stared back, eyes wide at the silver armored pony. He had orange detailing on his armor. Was it the sign of a group I didn't know or a rank marker? What do I do? Who was this pony? Should I just kill it or help it? I looked over to all the dead raiders and thought to myself what to do.
"Lilly! Get over here." I yelled.
"What is it?" She asked rising and trotting over to me.
" It’s a pony." I told her opening my bag and pulling out a healing potion and looking down at the figure. "Where do I put this?"
"Injection port at the back of the tubes." Said the pony and I could tell it was a ma

The door gave a little squeak as I opened it and stepped into my little home. I found Lilly sitting on my mattress looking over the DC Journal of Medicine I had given her.
"How was your trip?" She asked looking up from the book.
"Alright," I replied. "I have some things for our trip."
"What do ya got?" She asked rising and trotting over to me.
"Well I got you a new set of saddlebags and this." I replied passing her the recharger rifle.
"What is it?" She asked as her magic enveloped it and brought it close for examination.
"It’s a recharging laser rifle. It basically makes its own ammo bu

I shot towards JunkDoor at full speed. I could see smoke trails billowing from the market and houses all throughout the little town. I touched down at the wall and immediately began checking the fallen guards for any signs of life. The three I found up here were all dead so I jumped down off the wall and sprinted towards Lilly's house. The market burned around me as I ran through and saw slain ponies all around me. They were familiar faces; the doctor who lived in the back right corner of the mall, a repairpony who would do odd jobs around town for everypony, a mare who had served me lunch just two d

Sharp Eye Chapter 2 Part 2
I awoke laid over a crate with a throbbing in my head. At first I hadn't know what had happened but looking around I saw the empty whiskey bottles and I knew what had happened. I stood up slowly and limped my way into my room. I carefully lay down and checked my PipBuck. I found it was six o'clock in the morning so I could afford to sleep a bit longed. I pulled my blanket over myself and laid there waiting for sleep to come. It took a while but after about twenty minutes I passed out.
I awoke two hours later to find my head was still throbbing but it wasn’t as bad as before. I grabbed a Fancy Buck snack cake and sat by my window to eat

I awoke to my left wrist vibrating as my PipBuck alarm jolted me awake. I shut it off and as I did every morning I brought up my EFS and drew my revolver. I did a quick sweep through my little house and same as every morning I didn’t find a single living thing besides myself. Satisfied I holstered my revolver and sat down to eat. I opened the Fancy Buck snack cake from the night before and savored every bite of it. It was amazing to me how well pre war food was vacuum sealed and preserved so well. It still tasted as fresh as the day it was made even if it was nearly two hundred years old. I cha

Light filled my eyes as I lazily rolled over on the dirty mattress I was laying on. For a moment things seemed peaceful as I buried my head in my pillow but suddenly realization struck me. My eyes went wide as I pulled my revolver from its foreleg holster and scanned the room. My EFS came up and I checked the compass for any red flares. Finding none I breathed a little sigh of relief around the mouth bite of my revolver. I reholstered the weapon and looked around. I was still in the same little office I now called home. It was small and a little cramped but suited my needs fine. I was on the fifth fl

The next few weeks went by peacefully. Ponies came in all the time to ask me questions and check in on me. I was surprised at how kind the ponies were to me. They would come in and ask how I was feeling or if I needed anything. There were a few questions about my past like I had expected but none of the angry, malicious questioning I thought it would be. The most curious ponies were the town's little fillies and colts. They would crowd into my room and ask me to tell them stories of the battles I had fought in and the far off places I had been. It only occurred to me later that most of them had n

I had been eighteen when I was conscripted into the US military and completed close to a year of basic training in Trenton. I'll save you that part of the story because frankly it's boring as all hell. The real story begins when I was put on a boat and shipped overseas. I was a private first class in the American Expeditionary Force. I was with the 149th infantry regiment

"You….You really want to know about me?" I shyly asked the white pegasus mare in front of me.
"Of course silly. I wouldn't be asking if I didn't want to know." Snapshot replied bouncily.
"Ok then. It all started in a little place called Coltstown in the southeastern shadow of the Canterlot Mountain….."
